If You Give a Mom an Hour

If you give a mom an hour, she might spend it hanging frames for a hallway gallery wall.

After she hangs the frames, she will want to fill them with pictures.

She will go to the other room to see what pictures she has.

As she puts pictures in the frames, she will realize this project has been taking a while. She will look at the clock.

When she sees the clock, she will realize her hour is over and supper is overdue.

She will go to the basement to get some tater tots to go with supper.

When she arrives in the basement, she might find a toddler eating markers.

After telling the toddler to stop eating markers, she will look for her phone so she can take pictures of her new gallery wall.

As she looks for her phone, she will smell poop. She will inquire as to whether the toddler is poopy.

Since she is on a mission, she will delegate the diaper change to her husband.

With that taken care of, and having found her phone, she will remember the tater tots.

As she reaches for the freezer door, the peanut gallery will share their preference for waffle fries. So she decides to make fries and tots to please the crowd.

After she grabs the tater tots, she may discover that the load in the washer is done. She will put down the tater tots to throw the load in the dryer.

After starting the dryer, she brings the tater tots upstairs and puts them and the waffle fries in the oven.

With that finished, she starts cooking the burgers. Realizing she has a spare moment, she considers continuing adding pictures to her new gallery wall frames.

Instead, she decides to sit down for a break. When she sits down, she decides she’ll write a story about her journey to share with her friends.

And that is what may happen... if you give a mom an hour.
